Here are 3 steps on the road to positive weight loss.

 

  • I hate to exercise: If you dread your next workout chances are you won’t find the motivation to get the most out of your exercises. Excuses like not having enough time aren’t going to cut it. We always seem to find time for the thing we enjoy.

 

You need to remember why you are doing this in the first place. You need to envision the end results.

See each day as being one step closer to your dreams. Keep your thought on the positive side. Remember the reason why you are exercising in the first place. One big step you can do to get your motivation rolling is to change up you workout routine once in awhile to keep it fresh. Mix it up a bit.

 

  • My diet stinks: Are you getting bored with you diet? Is it the same old bland foods. Is the temptation killing you? If you don’t like your diet you will not stick with it. You can’t force yourself day in and day out to put up with a diet you can not tolerate.

 

What can you do?

The first thing you need to realize is that a diet is not some magic formula to lose weight. Your diet is the fuel to keep your body running. Put bad gas in your car, your car runs bad. Put bad food in your body, your body runs bad.

You need to find a diet that fits you. You need to take a common sense approach to eating. The greasy double meat double cheese burger with fries is bad for you. The donuts at work are bad for you. Start thinking about what you are putting in your body. A diet isn’t about starvation.

And last, but not least…

 

  • I, me, mine: Think of yourself as being worthy and deserving. The greatest thing on earth is you. So what you put on some weight, it doesn’t make you less of a person.

 

It’s going to take time. You need to develop patients to help you through the hard times. We all have the ability within us to achieve anything we want. Your only limitations are your thoughts. Change them and you will change your life.
