Any Men With A Fitness Regimine That Does Not Involve A Gym?

By Diet | Jul 23, 2009

Due to work and home commitments, I find it very hard to make it to the gym like I used to. I bought a treadmill for use at home. But, I was wondering if others have fitness routines they use to stay in shape. I would like to lose weight and also tone and build muscle. Thanks.

My bf is the same way. We have an elliptical and he uses a program on there that is 30 min long and he also has the “perfect push up” things that he uses everyday. So far he is getting in pretty good shape. He has lost about 5 pounds in a month and his arms/shoulders and getting more defined. The elliptical helps shape your calves, thighs, and glutes.
    Whatever you decide, good luck!

If you have stairs at home, use them. Run up and down for 10 minutes and use the bottom step up and down to your favourite upbeat music, meanwhile swing your arms while holding something like a can of beans in each hand (or posh weights if you’ve got them) including raising the arm back wards, elbow upward to work upper arms. Try standing up at your desk to take phone calls, wil knees slightly bent and a straight back to work thighs. And try to walk 30 minutes. Also change your diet. It takes energy to digest protein so increase your protein intake with soya protein shakes, instead of 2 meals to drop fat and gain muscle or in addition to meals to gain weight in lean muscle. The more muscle, the better fat burning. Click my name to find your body fat % and a survey to tell you what protein and calories you need if you want to lose weight or gain in fitness.
