• Your body needs good energy level; carbohydrates are essential for that preferred energy. If you are having this type of diet then your body gets less energy level. Your body will not be able to perform normal routine work if the energy levels are low

• If you are on such a diet then you are supposed to substitute it with something else like saturated fats. But research shows that saturated fat can cause health problems later.

• Many people confuse between weight loss and fat loss. Weight loss plan with low carb diet may look very impressive in the initial stages. But it is only water retention with this type of diet, so after some days you will start adding pounds automatically.

• When you increase the carbohydrate levels in your diet suddenly after a diet, which is low in carbs, your body does not know what to do with the excess carbohydrates. So the extra carbohydrates gets stored as fat in your body resulting in weight gain.

Carbohydrates are considered to be essential food group classified as nutrients for your body. A healthy diet should be composed of right quantity of protein, carbohydrates and fat. Your body needs both simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates to function properly. Instead of eliminating carbohydrates from your diet completely, you can cut down certain types of carbohydrates.
