He was overweight, but couldn’t wait,
Even a minute for his food
He wished weight lost, at every cost,
It would surely do him good.
Instead of barber, he went to parlor,
Seeking remedies to slim,
He was pensive, they were expensive,
The situation became grim.
Disgusted at last, he began to fast,
Saving money on food bill,
Food he won’t lick, he grew very sick,
Until he became very ill.
He came to me, and asked to see,
His obese condition so tragic,
‘To lose your fat, take cricket bat,
Playing games will do magic.’
The advice was free, I refused my fee,
The formula could never fail.
I was going away, on a long, long way,
His progress he was to mail.
Months I waited, but then I doubted,
If he’s forgotten me full.
I began to feel that to a great deal,
He’s slimmed or he’s dull.
A year passed, much wealth I amassed,
I came to my home back,
What a surprise, for all his enterprise,
His waist was still a sack.
He was dejected, as he was rejected,
By his fiancée so beloved,
‘Lose this flabby, it looks so shabby,
Or else we can’t be wedded.’
To me he rushed, nearly crushed,
Under such a great tension.
‘Take your seat, don’t run in heat,
Your problem please mention.’
‘I play everyday, except Sunday,
When church I go to pray.
I shed no fat, though daily I bat,
My hairs are turning grey.‘
‘You’ve missed a bit, to become fit,
It’s no use if you cry.
Please be quiet, control the diet,
And eat less fish fry.
Take a small serving, don’t be craving,
Whatever the food, if rich,
Say a big no, wherever you go,
Let not greed be a hitch.’
Being no fool, he obeyed the rule,
It wasn’t any gimmick,
Control your slices, do exercises,
That’s the slimming trick.
Soon he was slim, his figure trim,
To his wedding I was invited,
At him I gazed, really amazed,
His face was happily lighted.

I think weight loss should primarily be done using excercises but supplements can only aid.
