If you feel stalled in your in efforts to lose weight, today I’ll share two weight loss options that should get you back on track fast. If you are tired of blaming the clothes drier for the way your clothes keep getting “smaller” and “smaller”, and are sick of being afraid of your bathroom scale, you need to start making some changes. Or you should expect things to be more of the same. In other words, no change … no change.
It’ll just take a few minutes to read over what I have to present in this short article. After that you should have a few more tricks up your sleeve to finally kick your stubborn belly to the curb.
Weight Loss Options – Simple
Make incremental small changes in your diet.
You may have heard that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Well, the same principle applies here. You can’t go shooting for the fences in your first time at bat. When it comes to diet and exercise, people can become overwhelmed and daunted if taken out of their comfort zone too quickly.
So, you have take things one step at a time.
One way to do this is by making small changes in what you snack on and also what you do before meals.
A great way to make sure you don’t too much at meals is by a eating bowl of vegetable, lentil, or black bean soup before meals. You could also substitute an apple instead.
For example, try adding apples and low calorie yogurts in as snacks throughout the day. Eating foods like these will help curb your hunger for other higher calorie and more fattening foods between meals. All you need to do is start with one, maybe two of these snacks a day.
These snacks won’t completely fill you up, but they will help you eat less of the meal you are about to eat. Less food eaten means fewer calories consumed.
Make small incremental changes in exercise
In order to lose weight, you don’t need to embark on long marathon exercise sessions. You can take advantage of commercial breaks on television to get in pretty much all the exercise you need.
For every hour of programming on television, you can count on about seven breaks for commercials that last about three minutes each. Make a goal of using seven of those commercial breaks for working out. You can do them all in the space of one hour, or spread them out over the course of the day.
Just make a commitment to doing seven short three minutes workouts per day, and take things from there. There’s no shortage of exercises you can do – pushups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, riding a stationary bike, etc.
