Okay if you have the money you could look into this procedure which helps you not feel hungry all the time.
I can’t remember what it’s called but the doctor puts a balloon into your stomach which is then filled with saline (salt water). This makes the stomach feel full and you lose weight. They take it out after six months or so.
The reason I recommend this is because I would have it done in a heartbeat if I had the money. It has no cutting, they put the balloon in by going down your throat. It is safe, even if the balloon broke you just pee out the salt water. It is completely removable.
What worries me about other surgeries is that the results don’t last, they cause masses of pain and may make your life a living hell. Really think about this course of action and try to find a pain reduced way of going about it.
I wont tell you to go on a diet, at 200 kilos I hear it all the time and I know it wont mean much because I ignore people too. I know how bad it feels to be overweight and I hope you find an answer which works for you.
    All the best :)

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. As a 16 year old, it is great that you want to take charge of your weight issue before you get older and start experiencing many adult obesity problems.
I know several people who have had the Gastric band surgery with horrible results, and had to have it reversed. I have relatives that have also had the Gastric Bypass surgery and have gained a lot of the weight back.
In case you haven’t heard, there is another option available in the form of a gastric bulking pill. When taken with water, it swells up in the stomach and fills you up about 25 percent. Do your research and pray before going under the knife. Blessings to you.

  • Well as an overweight person I feel your pain. Even when I was at your age I was considered morbidly obese. This is something that you, your parents, and your doctor should all discus and look into. The biggest problem I have ran into with a child your age (no offense) having weight loss surgery, is that it is very hard. You have to be extremely disciplined or you could really hurt yourself. After you have a weight loss surgery you have to make sure to take all of your meds, you have to control your food intake, and you have to still exercises. These I know of course are all of the things the “skinny” people tell us to do now right?
With the surgery it still needs to be done the difference is with the surgery you HAVE to do it, because if you don’t your body will let you know when it does not like something. So with all of that in mind you want to know what is the best surgery. This depends on your BMI or how much over weight you are. If you are more than 100 pounds over your ideal body weight, then you are a candidate for a gastric Bypass. If you are less than 100 pounds over weight, then you could look into the lapband.
    Good luck

The best surgery is no surgery at all. it becomes a necessity if one can not summon up enough discipline to cut down on food and increase exercise. I recommend joining a forum or group of people and try loosing weight without surgery, then only when you are sure you can’t do it by your self only then you can explore surgery. Take a look at these http://www.paystolivewell.com/Weight_Loss_Products.html products and programs they may help you.

I had my obesity surgery through Forerunners Healthcare Consultants in India I don’t regret it at all I had a baby since then and I’m still able to take the weight off so far i am very happy. The key is to use a reputable surgeon. You want to be carefully screened beforehand to make sure you are a good candidate. Since my surgery I can walk without getting tired, I can play with my son; I can walk down the street with my head held high. I feel pretty for the fist time in years. I was given another shot at life. The surgery is a tool and how well that tool works is up to you!!
I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would recommend to every one who is suffering from the same problems as I did before but I would urge anyone who is interested to seek the best surgeon possible and make the decision based on the surgeon’s recommendations and your own personal goals!! Make sure the reasons for the surgery are the right one. The surgery isn’t for someone who just “wants to be skinny”. Do it for your health, for your life, for family. FOR YOU.
    You can checkout their website.http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com
    Hope this helps.

If you are willing to spend that much money – try hiring a personal trainer to teach you how to properly work out, and a dietician to teach you how to eat right.
Give that a year and if you dont lose at least 1-2 pounds per week, go with a gastric bypass. but remember – the surgery wont work if you dont learn to eat right and work out.

Did you know that additional weight is not constantly thanks to additional body fat? There can be a lot of unwanted weight basically sitting around in the colon. The latest supplement will flush out the colon and help you to reduce as much as 20 pounds, frequently from the waist (show me an individual who does not need to reduce some pounds from their waist LOL!!). There’s a risk free trial on offer at http://ranabamt.sensitiveit.com I’ve been taking it for two weeks now and it is certainly working!!

The pattern for losing weight is easy – eat less food and move more often – the difficulties appear when we in reality try to put that into practice! There are lots of opportunities to fail out there aren’t there?! The only diet that really showed results for me is wu-yi tea, it can be seen in the resource box below, they have a limited number of free trials remaining, it has been highlighted in Fox News and CNN. I worked off 20 pounds, it really does produce results!
