Hi Miss Scatty,
I think exercise is a good idea in order to speed up your metabolism, and therefore burn fat quicker. If you eat a balanced diet and and not over-eat you will definitely lose up to 2 stones in two months.
For winter sports, try indoor activities at your local sports centre. You can try learning a skill such as self defence and kill two birds with one stone.
Hope this helps!
The best and most fun full body workout is skiing. Go on a ski trip where you’ll spend your days shredding down beautiful mountains and taking in breathtaking views, while partaking in an aerobic activity. You’ll really feel the workout in your legs, especially the hamstrings and quadriceps, along with your torso and arms, as you build strength, endurance and balance.
just eat most vegatable, fruit and drink plently of water. But make sure you get enough protein in your diet. Take for a walk, do video exercise, lift weight, ride bicycle if it not too cold. I like to keep exercise simple and then work up to it.
Walking
Swimming and/or water aerobics, everyday! You’ll definatley loose the weight!x
read tips on some great workouts and more on this site
Try to find an exercise dvd that you enjoy… i like stott pilates dvd collection and i know it’s kinky Carmen Electra streap tease exercice video…
Do pilates one day and carmen the day after…you will fill great and do more exercice
You should do something fun, otherwise exercising is a loss. I play in door futbol in the states during the winter. Also swimming is GREAT and fun. Yoga, Pilates, and dance classes are super fun and a great place to meet people. Also you MUST eat right. Have 6 small meals a day not exceeding the caloric limit of 1500 calories. Basically if you eat more fruits and veggies than starch and only have fist sized portions of foods you should be okay. Eat your protein and plan out your meals to avoid spur of the moment food choices. Also take your lunch to work with you.
winter exercise , you can play, badminton, lawn tennis, squash.
one hour after few minutes of warm up, should be sufficient, of 4 days a week

Absolutely possible – in fact a doddle, but a quick one.
My brother was morbidly overweight this time last year, the regime he followed lost one stone per month (i.e. 2 stones in 2 months and 12 stones to date!) this was what he did.
Each morning his daughter (who is 15 and agreed to help him) awoke him at 6 am. They both got into trackies and by 6.05 were outside ready to walk (as quickly as they could without running or looking stupid) just nice quick walking.
They did this each day 7 days a week for one hour and were back in the house by 7.05 am. (Feeling very fresh and sparkly)
He cut out bread, pastries, cakes, sweets and biscuits only, but ate as much as he wanted of any other stuff.
Result – a steady 3 to 4 pounds a week loss.
I don’t know your medical fitness or anything so would always recommend you talk to a GP about this first in case there is a medical reason why you shouldn’t do it, but it is really simple and works.
(You should see my brother now – unbelievable – half the weight in just a little over one year)
In fact the reason I answered this question is that I need to do it myself and am starting this very regime next monday – yep! christmas day!!
I would try swimming. Indoor swimming of course. Yeah, its pretty cold when you get out of the pool but once you actually get in the water and began swimming it is one of the best sports you can do. It exercizes every muscle in your body and it is’nt hard on any bones or joints.
I run in the winter, still, but if you want indoor, the gym has great classes that are fun and can be different. I love tae-bo and I make up my own routines sometimes using jump rope 100 reps then abs, and weights. I just talked to a good friend who has a degree in diet/nutrition and teaches spin/weight classes and a local club… she told me to change your routine regularly and challenge your body with many different exercises and lift weights to lose weight. Also, 1 hour a day, sometimes a little more if your up for it is what I do.
Ski is great.!!!
Eat less and jog as well.!!!
2 Hours a day.!!!
Cross country skiing burns more calories than just about anything! It works upper, lower body and your core. Since I’m an American I’m not sure of the conversion of stone to pounds but if you cut your caloric intake and up your exercise you’ll see the difference soon.
swim and ski. Take the stones out of your pocket before attempting these sports- they could be dangerous to your health.
one of the exercises you should consider is eating less food.
anything out doors as you will burn more calories through shivering and maintaining you body temperature.
