I recently started taking a medication that has a side effect of weight loss and it is working but was wondering, am I going to gain it back once I stop taking it or is the weight just gone since it was a side effect? I haven’t done any thing different since I started taking it. Thanks.

Hello!
I think you will gain weight because of this. This is normal so long as you stay healthy then this is what’s important. As a motivation and this is just my opinion, I read stuff on the internet and there’s this one particular website that I’m following. So far so good!

Good luck!
hi
If you have not changed anything else then you will most likely put back either some of it or all of it once you are off the medication.
The way to keep it off (once you stop the medication) is to eat healthy and eliminate processed foods so that your body stays the same after you are off the medication.
When you think about it is logical that if you are taking a medication and a side effect is weight loss and you havent made any other changes to your lifestyle – then it makes sense that when you come off it the weight you have lost will come straight back on – purely because youve stopped the medication.
Sorry, probly not the answer you were looking for but hope it helped anyways..
