I am in Track & Field and throughout my Christmas vacation, I haven’t been doing any hard workouts like my coach always gives the team. Does two weeks of lack of exercises really affect your fitness level by alot?

It can. The beginning is going to be harder than before you left on break, but after a few sessions, you will feel better than before. Only take the time if when you need it. You’ll know when you need when you stall out completely.
hahaha
i run track too, but i trained. even a little bit of training will keep you fit.
but if u didnt…
ok, if u were running hard for at least five days a week (being like a slug for 2 hours after practice), then you will improve slighty bc that means u were overtraining.
then basically, the less you train during the season, the more ur fitness will decline
run 5 miles 2morrow to jumpstart ur heart. do some situps/pushups tonight
