Why Fad Diets and Most Free Online Diets Can’t Help Most People To Produce Long Term Results?

When it comes to using fad diets, it is very simple. A fad diet is an ineffective nutrition strategy that suggests that you consume mostly one type of macronutrient to create a calorie deficit.
Obviously, the most popular is the low-carb diet approach.
Since protein has the highest thermic effect, almost 30% of the calories that come from this macronutrient are burned off by your body during digestion. This is the major reason why low carb dieting is so effective for short term weight loss.
But, in the long term it is impossible to use this approach for an extended period of time.
The reason for this is simple. As soon as you body realizes that you have stopped consuming carbohydrates, which are your body’s most preferred energy source, it will trigger its defense mechanisms and will force you to go off this diet and start to eat the carbohydrates that it desires.
There are a few people that can use their willpower to stick to a low carb diet, but you do not want to be around them when they are using this approach.
The reason for this is simple: They wll be in a very bad mood 24/7 ad might take their anger out on you!
Now, when it comes to free online diets, why are most of them ineffective?
When it comes to ineffective nutrition techniques, the reason they don’t work is obvious, they simply have a flaw in their design. Using them is like trying to push your car uphill, very difficult, and can’t be sustained.
If we are talking about an effective nutrition strategy that recommends to consume your daily maintenance daily calorie intake, use an optimum nutrient ratio, and suggests to use an effective meal frequency approach, then the major reason is a lack of true motivation.
In my opinion, a lack of motivation is the major reason why most people can’t create permanent fat loss.
What do I mean by a lack of motivation? Well, for example if you do not like to eat healthy food, and do not like to exercise, how long do you think you can force yourself to do this?
In reality, not very long. When you do something that you don’t like doing, you will never be able to force yourself to stick to this approach in the long run.
For example, let’s take walking. It is very simple and very easy to do. But, most people still don’t do it. Why? The answer is simple. They simply don’t like to walk. If they did like it, they would be naturally motivated to do it.
But, since we have to eat healthy food 80% to 90% of the time and have to use cardio training and weight training to create a lean, healthy body, how do we motivate ourselves to do this on a regular basis?
In reality, there is only one way!
By deciding on what is more important to you and what is less important to you.
If it is more important for you to eat delicious, high calorie foods and enjoy the comfort of not exercising than you will avoid eating healthy food and will avoid exercising.
If it is more important to you to reach your ideal body weight, then you will eat healthy food and will exercise on a regular food.
If you don’t make conscious choices about what you truly desire in your life, than you will be caught in a vicious weight loss and weight regain cycle, like most people.
But, if you truly decide that having the body of your dreams is the most important thing in your life, you will be ready to do what it takes to bring this end result into your life!
So this is why fad diets don’t work, and why free online diets do not produce long term results for most people.
