How Do You Put A Mouse Inside The Exercise Ball Safely And Gently?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I’ve tried to gently put him in the ball but he always climbs around the outside of the ball. I even tried putting his food in the exercise ball to attract him inside it but, he didn’t go in.He really needs exercise. He’s kind of plump so I’m worried about him. He pretty much eats and sleeps all day. Thanks in advance!

Lift him up, one hand under his back feet, one supporting his chest, tilt him at a gentle angle and put his front feet in and then let his back feet down. If he doesn’t start turning it when he is in there, give him a very careful and gentle push to get him started

first to make sure your safe put on a heavy duty gardening glove.then open his cage try to let him get as close as possible to you.gently put your hand around him with your fingers between his feet

  • kiwi:

tip the ball to the side so that you can place him inside the ball, but on the lid and let him run.

  • You should put your mouse on the floor or table then put the ball on top of him so he is in the ball, then just turn it and put the lid on!

  • Get him a wheel for his cage?

  • Does it bite you? If so try covering the mouse with a soft denim or leather patch. Pick the patch and the whole mouse up at the same time, while it is trapped. This might take both hands. Try to arrange it in you hand so your fingers wrap secruely around its body and only its head points out of your grip. Let it sample a snack, keep it close to the ball so it can see and smell you put the tiny snack in the ball. This way it knows where its food is. Secure the ball with the opening at an angle so you don’t drop your pet straight down in the ball which may hurt the mouse depending on size of the fall. You could try setting the ball between pillows or a towel to keep it from rolling around while you struggle placing the mouse in it. With one hand place your pets head(covered in the denim patch if needed) in the hole so it has no where to go but into the hole or stay in your hand. Take your free hand and make sure its legs go in if it resists. Put the palm of your hand flat over the hole until your newly freed hand slides the lid in place. Secure the lid. Set your mouse ball on a flat, smooth, level surface where it can not roll off anything so high it could get killed (like a table). Mice are extremely sensitive to shock, so don’t let the ball drop. Remember the ball will not keep your mouse from being attacked or possibly killed by other animals, so you have to supervise its exercise.
