I am 40 years old and diabetic and have decided to start a diet and exercise program in order to lose weight and get healthy. I was wondering how long it would take for my metabolism to adjust to the diet and exercise program? Since I am 40 and diabetic will my body automatically boost my metabolism because of the diet and exercise program or will I have to take drastic measures in order to boost my metabolism?
