How Much Does Weight Loss Or Gain Affect A Tattoo??
![]() |
I’m getting my first tattoo in about a week but I’m about 5 to 10 pounds over what my usual weight is at the moment (or the weight id rather be ;P)
I’m getting my tattoo on my lower back about the size of a hand
would like 10 pound weight loss/gain really change the look of a tattoo?

A 10 pound weight loss or gain would not really change the look of a tattoo. Anything over that, however, is dangerously close to affecting it. It also depends on how and where you put on/lose weight. You might not store fat on your lower back, depending upon your body.
