Here is Exactly Why Fad Diets and Most Free Online Diets Do Not Produce Long Term Results!
Why Fad Diets and Most Free Online Diets Can’t Help Most People To Produce Long Term Results?
Have you ever asked yourself this question? If you have, I will try my best to explain.
When it comes to using fad diets, it is very simple. A fad diet is an ineffective nutrition strategy that suggests that you consume mostly one type of macronutrient to create a calorie deficit.
Obviously, the most popular is the low-carb diet approach.
Since protein has the highest thermic effect, almost 30% of the calories that come from this macronutrient are burned off by your body during digestion. This is the major reason why low carb dieting is so effective for short term weight loss.
But, in the long term it is impossible to use this approach for an extended period of time.
The reason for this is simple. As soon as you body realizes that you have stopped consuming carbohydrates, which are your body’s most preferred energy source, it will trigger its defense mechanisms and will force you to go off this diet and start to eat the carbohydrates that it desires.
There are a few people that can use their willpower to stick to a low carb diet, but you do not want to be around them when they are using this approach.
The reason for this is simple: They wll be in a very bad mood 24/7 ad might take their anger out on you!
Now, when it comes to free online diets, why are most of them ineffective?
When it comes to ineffective nutrition techniques, the reason they don’t work is obvious, they simply have a flaw in their design. Using them is like trying to push your car uphill, very difficult, and can’t be sustained.
If we are talking about an effective nutrition strategy that recommends to consume your daily maintenance daily calorie intake, use an optimum nutrient ratio, and suggests to use an effective meal frequency approach, then the major reason is a lack of true motivation.
In my opinion, a lack of motivation is the major reason why most people can’t create permanent fat loss.
What do I mean by a lack of motivation? Well, for example if you do not like to eat healthy food, and do not like to exercise, how long do you think you can force yourself to do this?
In reality, not very long. When you do something that you don’t like doing, you will never be able to force yourself to stick to this approach in the long run.
For example, let’s take walking. It is very simple and very easy to do. But, most people still don’t do it. Why? The answer is simple. They simply don’t like to walk. If they did like it, they would be naturally motivated to do it.
But, since we have to eat healthy food 80% to 90% of the time and have to use cardio training and weight training to create a lean, healthy body, how do we motivate ourselves to do this on a regular basis?
In reality, there is only one way!
By deciding on what is more important to you and what is less important to you.
If it is more important for you to eat delicious, high calorie foods and enjoy the comfort of not exercising than you will avoid eating healthy food and will avoid exercising.
If it is more important to you to reach your ideal body weight, then you will eat healthy food and will exercise on a regular food.
If you don’t make conscious choices about what you truly desire in your life, than you will be caught in a vicious weight loss and weight regain cycle, like most people.
But, if you truly decide that having the body of your dreams is the most important thing in your life, you will be ready to do what it takes to bring this end result into your life!
So this is why fad diets don’t work, and why free online diets do not produce long term results for most people.

Can You Lose Weight Safely With Atkins Diet?
The Atkins Diet which is now called the Atkins Nutritional Approach, is a diet created by Dr, Atkins based on a diet he read in the Journal of American Medical Association. It is a low carb diet which it is claimed induces the body to burn fat as fuel rather than carbohydrates. It was popular for a few years, but less so now due in part to the difficulty many had in keeping to plan and also because of considerable criticism and doubts expressed by members of the medical profession as to whether you could lose weight safely with this diet.
The Atkins Program
The diet is very restrictive in the early part of the program and requires that mineral and vitamin supplements are added to the diet to offset any deficiencies which might occur as a result of the very low calorie intake. The foundation of the diet is the belief that the prime reason for the over weight problem is the large amount of over refined carbohydrates in our daily diet which includes sugar, white flour and junk food.
Dr. Atkins also encouraged the consumption of protein.
Results
There seems no doubt that many have successfully lost weight when using the Atkins Diet, but also many have found it too difficult and were unable to carry on with it. The diet requires a real life-style change to carry out the plan and lose weight as it is intended.
Warnings
Warnings of the dangers of high protein – low carb diets with reference to the Atkins diet have been issued by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. They claim that scientific studies have shown that low carb diets raise cholesterol levels and accelerate calcium loss. Also major health organizations have raised questions about the risk they present with regard to heart problems, kidney abnormalities and osteoporosis.
Conclusion
While many have benefited from using the Atkins Diet and have been quite happy with the results they have obtained it needs to be treated with caution.
Much can frequently be gained by monitoring your daily food intake:-
*Cut down slightly on the size of servings
*Drink plenty of fluid, (up to 8 glasses of water per day is the usual recommendation)
*Ensure you eat a mixture of vegetables with meat in moderation
*Get a reasonable amount of exercise on a daily basis if possible
There are diets freely available on the internet and there are healthy balanced plans that can be purchased for a small outlay. Remember it is your health you are investing in.

5 Small Steps to Big Weight Loss
When it comes to weight loss it seems that many people are frightened by the concept. No one wants to put away their grease fat and sugar. Who will blame them? Nowadays with all the weight loss fads it is getting increasingly harder to lose weight. I want to talk about some step-by-step ways of losing weight easily with making very little changes. Here are just eight small steps to big weight loss that will change your life completely.
1. Eat five or six small meals throughout the day. By doing this you are giving yourself a constant supply of fuel and you are allowing your metabolism to burn at a higher rate. The more your metabolism burns the more fat you burn.
2. Make sure you eat at least 2000 calories every day of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and other nutrient packed foods. You want to ensure yourself that you have plenty of energy to make it through the day without feeling fatigued.
3. Eat light in the evenings. Make sure that you do not eat anything after 8 PM. The reason why is because you want your metabolism to burn through the night, and this will help you lose weight faster.
4. Don’t drink any soda. Sodas are packed with sugar and the carbonation will put weight on you quickly. By avoiding soda and drinking nothing but water you will lose up to 5 to 10 pounds in a matter of two weeks.
5. Drink plenty of water. If you do not consume at least 8 glasses of water everyday, when you do drink water your body will retain it. By consuming enough water you are letting your body know that you have a good supply of water coming in, allowing you to release excess.
By following these easy steps they will provide you a basic foundation that will take weight off of you easily and effectively. This and a balanced diet will keep you in complete control of your overall health, and help keep your weight in check.
