What Is A Good Exercise Regimen For A Teenager?

By Diet | Aug 21, 2009

I am 17 and I’m trying to tone up and lose a few pounds. I have a terrible sweet tooth, and not a lot of time to exercise because I work and have many activities. What can I do at home and how can I change my eating habits and get in shape?

Well, I suppose for a teenager, you would like to do exercise that’s fun and interesting?
Cardio exercise like biking, swimming, dancing, cardio kickboxing, rope jumping and many, many more are good for you.
Just choose and pick a few exercises you love and like to do and get on!
Do 3-4 times per week for at least 30 mins per session.
Change your eating habit gradually over a period of time. Don’t go for overnight, sudden big changes. You can’t cope with these kinds of big changes and will fail bec they’re too overwhelming for you.

If you like any sports play as much as you can in as many teams as you can, different sports work different parts of the body and they can be really fun, that way you can keep eating sweets now and then.
