run alot do many crunches and it wouldnt hurt to take out dumbells and do some lifting.

Don’t even bother with crunches yet if you’re a little chubby. A 6 pack is nothing more than a manifestation of a low body fat percentage. Doing ab exercises when you are chubby will only push your gut out farther because the muscle is UNDER the fat.
A 6 pack is the hardest thing to get in fitness because you have to get to single digit body fat. If you want one before June you have to go hardcore on the diet. NO fat food, NO pizza, NO red meat, NO frozen foods (except frozen veggies and fruit) NO hot pockets, NOTHING high in sodium. Everything you eat needs to be natural, as minimally processed as possible.
You need to eat not 3, but 6 meals a day. SMALL meals. I don’t know your exact weight but if you are a typical male your maintenance number of calories is probably around 2500. (maybe more or less depending on activity level.) Between those 6 meals/snacks you must eat no more than 2500 calories EVER. Most days you should eat around 2000.
Build your (possibly bland, but you have to make sacrifices) meals around skinless chicken, turkey, and tuna as well as a lot of veggies. Fruits in small does are really good as well. Do not go extremely low carb, just watch out for SIMPLE carbs. In other words, cut out sugar garbage.
On top of that, you have to run. Preferably interval training which i the most effective tool for fat loss.
Interval training is where you, after a brief warm-up, sprint for 30 seconds, jog for a minute, sprint for 30 seconds, jog for a minute. You do that process as many times as you can. Do that 3-4 times a week. The rest of the days try to get out and walk as much as possible. The great thing about interval training over regular running is that it has been shown to raise the rate of calories burning for your body for like 12-24 hours after you exercise. So if you can do it in the morning that’s best.
You MUST create a 500 calories deficit from diet, AND a 500 calories deficit from exercise for a total of 1000 pretty much everyday if you are going to do this in a month. And even then it will be very challenging. Most mean with 6 packs have been training for months if not years to have them…
