What Is Your Personal Motivation For Weight Loss?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

For instance, I have a friend who loses weight 5 lbs at a time. She sets a 5 lb weight loss goal, then after she achieves that she sets another 5 lb goal. She finds she stays motivated when the end goal is “within reach.”

  • Personally…its knowing that I want to be tone and have my body look more fit. This is what gets my butt do to cardio and stop snacking.
I know people who have a reward system, a “reachable goal” like your friend, the simple fact that they want to be healthier. There are plenty of motivations, you just have to find what works for you.

  • Elliot:

I motivate myself to lose weight by thinking of a day when I’ll be equal with the size 0, 90lb girls at my school.

  • Boopsie:

Sounds as if your friend found out what works for her.
Everyone is different. What works for me is trying to keep in the clothes I already have.
or buying something I really want in a size smaller than I am currently wearing.
or planning on going to a class reunion where an “old boyfriend” will be
or just doing one day at a time,,with no fattening snax in the house

  • Thinking:

To live longer, be healthy, look good, show other people this is what i can achieve, confidence – alot :D
