How Do You Exercise Your Dogs When It Rains A Lot?

I live in an area where all winter for about 3 months it rains almost continuously with maybe 7 or 8 days of sunshine in 3 months.
My dog is a Papillon and if I don’t exercise her at least 1 hr a day (of running) she gets uneasy and a little destructive.
I can’t let her run in the rain because she has a huge long coat and it gets very dirty plus I have to blow dry her every time which I don’t have the time for.
What do you guys do when it rains and your dog needs exercise?

I put my rain jacket and rain pants on and take them out. Rain doesn’t bother me or my dogs. Heck, we do agility in the rain.

I don’t like cutsey stuff, I link things that serve a real purpose.
I live in seattle and in the rainy months I still take my dogs out.I put my raincoat on and hood with boots and just face the cold…If I didn’t my dogs would be waaaay 2 hyper.
Try getting an actual rain coat for your dog that’s easier to wipe off.Cleaning your dog is just something you will have to deal with. I have 2 yorkshire terriers and a toy poodle and they get muddy a stinky but im not going to deny them exercise.I get my dogs out for at least a combined 2hours throughout the day rain or shine.
Train indoors in the centre, use the treatmill, play ‘mind’ games in the house…………….but mine also go out in the rain and we gets LOTS of it and 7 of my dogs are poodles.
Buy a treadmill and let her run on it! It sounds stupid but works!
I play ball with my dogs… they really like it!
