I recently read the book You: The Owner’s Manual By Dr. Oz(The Oprah Guy!) It repeats over and over again how important physical activity is, and it states that 30 minutes, 3 times a week of cardio training keeps you in good health. To lose weight, you have to do 5 days a week of cardiovascular exercise. Me, personally, I hop on my treadmill for 30 minutes and just walk at a rate of 3.5-3.8 mph…gets my heart rate up, and i don’t struggle to keep going when i start it!
it is recomended that every person should get an average of 30 min. of exercise, 3-5 times a week. She can achieve this by simply going on a nice walk, jogging, swimming, anything involving cardio. And there are also exercises such as lunges, crunches, and weight lifting which target certain body areas. well, I hope I helped and Good Luck!
I would like to say that staying fit is easy once you get in a habit. i say 30 plus min. 5 days a week. I love to run. I improved a lot in my running. last fall i ran the mile in 7:02 ok but this spring i ran it in 6:45. i also try to do push-ups i will watch tv then i pick a commercial and do push-ups for that whole commercial. again i started last fall and did 21 this spring i could do 50. I also enjoy exercising with friends like playing a game of softball or other creative games. i love to play Frisbee with my dad. that will get my heart pumping.

It depends on which areas of your body you want to keep healthy. If you want to be well rounded and phisically fit, I’d say at least an hour a day.
