I’ve Got 1 Of Those Fitness Beep Tests On At School Tomorrow. Any Ideas On How I Can Prepare For It?
![]() |
By prepare i mean like when its time for me to do it, is there any tactics i can try to keep me running for longer? And before i start as well. For people who cant remember a beep test its those fitness tests when you gotta run back and forth between a certain distance before the sound of a beep on a CD thing.

gosh those are really strange

theres not much you can do to improve by tomorrow, just make sure you get a good night sleep.
on the day make sure you are hydrated, and just pace yourself as best as possible. keep your breathing reeeeally regular and if you want to pick up the pace focus on taking longer strides not quicker ones.
that seems to work for me
good luck!
pace yourself, especially with the slow ones at the beginning, just walk if you have time because wasting energy means you will drop out earlier. try to get a rhythm going aswell when you get higher up. (maybe have a song in your head to run to?)
good luck! those tests are horrible!
I have the beep test also so I guess to run longer, you need to run in a slow pace at first. If you run very fast at the beginning, you will lose energy. Eat a good breakfast.
In the house now, you can even run around to get ready for the beep test. Do stretches to relax your muscles. Drink plenty of water so you won’t become dehydrated.
Good luck in your beep test anyway!
