The Weight Loss Cure Book Advises That One Take Injections Of Hcg Hormone. Is It Safe?

By Diet | Sep 24, 2009

I recently bought Kevin Trudeau’s The Weight Loss Cure They Don’t Want You to Know About. In it, he cites studies from the 1950′s that say that taking daily injections of the hormone hCG (125-250mg) and eating a 500 calorie a day diet is a safe way to lose weight and stop food cravings.
I am a diabetic, so I know that any hormone can be life changing and can effect the whole body. Is there anyone who has used this regimen or otherwise knows about this hormone and would recommend it?

Considering you are a diabetic, i believe you are taking a hypoglycemic agent to control your blood sugar. Please be advised by your physician and/or dietician regarding your diet regimen and not depend on write-ups which are not supported by randomized placebo-controlled clinical trials as you may be subjecting yourself to a life-threatening condition when using that without any fool-proof medical basis.
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is currently used, aside from stimulating ovulation, in combination with anabolic androgenic steroids in males.
    Please be guided. Thank you.

Diabetic or no DON’T TOUCH THAT POISON. Just eat sensibly and keep yourself active. Everyone I know who has taken some kind of diet pills or injections lived to regret it. Some of the nasty side effects include high blood pressure and palpitations. Most regained the weight they lost and more. Stay away from anything artificial. Surely you are disciplined enough to keep away from the wrong foods.
