Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I was thinking about a “starch-free” (not all carbs) diet; giving up rice, bread, pasta, baked goods, etc. .. Will I see rapid weight loss resultant from this sort of a diet?

    Eliminate fatty foods, such as carbs and sugars. Stick with salads and fruit and vegetables. Heathly and for the most part low in calories. Eliminate sugary drinks such as all types of sodas and juices. Stick with water mostly.

    I do not recommend low carb diets, this is not the best way to lose weight, it is unstable. These diets usually substitute carbs with proteins (like Atkins), you will feel malnourished and once you throw the diet the pounds will go back on almost as quickly as they came off. Not good for the body’s metabolism as it will crash.
    Rice and pasta are excellent course of complex carbohyrates which you need a minimum amount every day. They are easy for the body to absorb and give you a lot of energy.
    The foods you should be eliminating are processed foods, sugary drinks, sodas, animals fats, full fat milk and cream which are high in saturated fats, these foods are harder for the body to break down so they are stored as fats.

    The best thing to do is completely cut out all trans fats.
    Trans fats are extremely bad for you, they are found in a lot of boxed foods such as:
    *Mac N’ Cheese
    * Hamburger Helper
    *Fruit gushers
    and many other foods, but thankfully many people have cut them out of the foods, but there are many that have the trans fats in the foods.
    I would suggest eating plenty of whole grains, and try not to eat and white grain products. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and watch out for the gound meat, try deer or turkey meat instead.
    I hope this helped!

    Don’t follow all the fads! I can lose weight in a heartbeat with one simple rule. Firstly, any fatty foods you want, eat them at breakfast. Lunch should be vegetables and fiber as it cleans out the morning foods and lessens bloat (though initially you will be more bloated as your body gets used to higher fiber). At night eat your smallest meal and again eat protein or fiber or best yet a combination and for dessert eat something like an activia and a banana. Cut out high carbs and sugary food other than fruits! It is a sure fire way to lose weight!

  • Try cutting back on them, but do not eliminate them entirely. Eliminating them entirely will just make you want them more! If you try cutting back on them you will probably see a higher success rate. Try to eat a lot of protein, calcium, fruits and veggies! And choose fruits and veggies that are rich in color – they generally have less starch and are better for you. Good luck!

    Rice/Pasta…you are on the right track. The carbohydrates in these foods are HUGE. Be cautious and consult a physician.
    GOOD LUCK.

    Carbs and fatty food.
