I need to exercise and I love the feeling I get after, but I am unable to motivate to go run or bike or lift. Anyone have other ideas?

Dont stick to a particular exercise routine.. If you do brisk walking the first day, try doing push-ups and stretching the other day.. this way you will be able to keep up the motivation level and thats what exactly needed when you start a regime..

Depends on how old you are, but sex came to mind. lol

Maybe get a friend to join in with you or vary your routine. If you have an indoor pool, join a water areobic class or even a regular areobic class where there are people doing the same thing. Another way if you have a dog or even a neighbor’s or friend’s dog, put it on a leash and you will still have companionship and both enjoy the run at the same time. You might check with the local dog pound or humane society, perhaps they wouldn’t mind having their canine friends get some exercise.
take group exercise classes!! most gyms offer a variety of classes from step aerobics and kickboxing (both GREAT cardio) and free weights/muscle toning classes that help you get toned without using machines or hurt yourself from lack of knowledge about weights. also, try yoga for mind/body connection, and there are even water aerobics, spinning/indoor cycling and latin dance classes. try to mix up the variety of classes you take for a good mix of cardio and lifting, and take about 4-7 classes a week and you should see results soon! take a buddy to keep you motivated!!
Find an exercise buddy. That is the best way to get motivated. My friends and I sign up for exercise classes through the community college extension together and then it is not only fun because a friend is there, but you are motivated to show up, because you don’t want your friends to dog you for not.
Pole dancing…i know it sounds a little crazy but it is a great and fun way to exercise your legs, abs and arms while getting a great cardio workout. alot of women (and men) have tried this out as a sport and loved itm its not just for strippers anymore. it also boosts your self confidence!
hi , cheer up you don’t need more that 30 minute for briskly walk around the shopping area this will burn all the extra calories around your waist and belly and you will have fun and enjoyment going up and come down from each shop or supper shop you visit and that it will not cost you any thing for joining the club may be only if you buy water to drink and enjoy your shopping
After my daughter gets home from school we turn the radio on to the “hip hop” music and dance around for about an hour. When I’m dancing I try to do moves that use the muscles in my stomach and abs. Don’t worry about looking stupid, just think about how you’ll look when you’ve lost the weight. Also, try drinking about 10 ounces of water 3 – 4 times a day, that will increase your energy level unbelievably!
I have been doing the crossfit workouts and they have shredded my body big time (removed my body fat). They are pretty tough, but the results are quick!

Also to tone muscle (obviously you want a little muscle tone which is very sexy when done right) make sure you are getting plenty of protein to aid in recovery and building of new muscle tissue

I love DDR (Dance Dance Revolution)! It’s a game where you dance to songs while burning calories. You don’t even realize your losing weight. You can even do it with your friends. My friends and I play it all the time.
Walking is a good scenic exercise, at your own pace, your own shorts and it is fun. Walking burns off calories, fat and such. It takes time, do not expect to see less you in a day or week.
yoga is so much fun, its not so much “losing weight” but have definately toned up, people have told me they see a difference, and wii fit is great! it actually does work lol
play sports.

walk laps through the mall.
having a partner to exercise with helps too.
Dancing! Switch on your favourite songs and go nuts! Or walking with friends… hope I helped
