Can Any One Tell Me If Maximuscle Thermabol Fat Loss Tablets Are Any Good Thanks?

By Diet | Oct 25, 2009

I once used Lean System 7, which worked in my opinion. However, my intention for that was not as an easy way to slide from obesity. I used it along with weight training in order to get leaner. I wasn’t very fat in the first place, but wanted to become more defined.
I stopped using it after I read about what can happen if you over use thermabols (or whatever the actual technical name for them is.) I read this in a magazine a few years ago, so the exact science in the following description will not be thorough, and you’ll have to look it up for yourself, but as I recall this article stated that an overdose might result in you permanently losing muscle and wasting away.
Given the effectiveness of the tablets, I concluded that fat burners are not worth the risk. Afterall, I don’t know how much constitutes an overdose, or how much deviation from the recommendations you can go before causing irrepairable harm, and hence whether the differences in body type will push you into this limit despite you following the recommendations to the letter.
I stopped because I was ignorant about them, and unwilling to take the risk. If you can answer these questions, and you’re happy with the conclusions, then go for it! But personally, I would rather have a good diet and proper exercise routine, since although it did produce results, the price:results ratio did not make it justifiable.
I’d like to make it clear that I’m not bad-mouthing Lean System 7, or indeed any other specific brand, but I feel they are one of those products that you’ve got to be a serious, hardcore bodybuilder in order to justify their use. So they do have their place in the supplement market, but for those who aren’t body-builders approaching competition, it’s a waste of money, and could, apparently (or maybe I mean “allegedly”), cause damage.
If you decide to use them, make sure you read up about them first!

Like all ‘fat loss’ tablets bought over the internet or at health shops, they are a complete and utter waste of money.

Interesting post about safety issues – but in all seriousness the risks of using ‘research based’ diet supplements is over-hyped. The risk comes from using illegal supplements or over-dosing, or using them if you have a medical condition. Thermobol has been used safely by thousands of people over the last decade.
If you use them correctly, Thermobol will help you lose fat. However, it is true they are not miracle pills – you need be serious about losing fat.
Eat 5-6 small meals, protein rich, low gi meals per day
Lift weights/machines 2-3 times a week (girls or guy!)
Moderate cardio 2-3 times per week
Then add in Thermobol! You can use thermobol to enhance your results.
The person who said they don’t work has either used poor quality fat burners, doesn’t know how to use thermobol properly or is influenced by the media TV shows that don’t know anything about physiology and getting in shape!
Thermobol is one of the best because it contains the high potency herbal extracts (if you use another brand it ‘must’ contain genuine research strength ingredients, and many don’t so be careful and compare labels).
Essentially Thermobol will elevate your core temperature and metabolic rate, mobilise stored fat and make it available for fat oxidation, and correspondingly boost fat burning.
The caffeine in thermobol stimulates fat release/oxidation via nervous system stimulation. The capsaicin (chilli) increases metabolic rate by increasing thermogenesis (heat production). Green tea contains polyphenols which evidently further increase energy expenditure. It also contains bitter orange which has replaced ephedrine in fat loss formulas (ephedrine is now illegal!) – ephedrine worked very well but it stimulated beta receptors in both the brain, heart and fat cells. Bitter orange is really good because it only stimulates the beta cells in fat tissues, so it’s 100% safe (but be careful because there are different types of bitter orange, some are safe and some aren’t – Thermobol is fine because it contains the one proven to cause no cardiac problems). I think it also has chromium for blood sugar/insulin control and l-tyrosine to enhance your mental drive while dieting.
One option is to cycle thermobol with non-stimulant fat loss supplements such as CLA and Fish Oil. So take each for a month and repeat.
