How Do I Motivate Myself To Exercise?
![]() |
I really hate exercising, although I used to be very active and play soccer and run. Now I dance twice a week, but really want to be more fit. I have wanted to try yoga, but am not sure if it actually does anything visual for your body. Any tips?
Part of the reason I am so hesitant to exercise is that I feel that it takes so much time out of your day between changing, exercising, and showering. I am very busy with schoolwork and am not sure how to work it into my day. Thank you.

How about promising yourself a treat as a reward for reaching a certain goal? Say a great warm up suit or new sneakers once you’ve met your goal. You can make it a weight loss goal if you’re trying to lose weight, or a time frame goal (ie say you’ll buy the treat if you work out 4 times a week for 8 weeks, or whatever).
