How Do You Work Out How Many Weightwatchers Points You Earn For Exercise?

By Diet | Oct 28, 2009

Hello i have the sliding rule thing but can’t figure out what levels of exercise are moderate etc. I am unable to go to meetings as i have already lost the weight (3 stone!) not through weight watchers meetings, and am using it as a tool to try and keep it off! My main exercise forms are Tai Chi, Yoga and Tribal belly dancing! Can anyone help?
Thanks and hugs
x Katie

You dont earn points for exercise. Generally for your height /weight you get a certain number of points to eat a day.
Example: My mom was 5’5″ and 178 lbs so she got 22 points a day to eat. That meant that each thing she ate had a certain number of points (sandwhich = 6 pts).
The biggest thing is try to keep a diary of everything you are eating, drink lots of water and exercise. You will see results. Good Luck!

Yes, you CAN earn points for exercise. On the new Weight Watchers program, you do.
A good way to determine the level of exercise you get is as such:
    Low Intensity- Not Sweating
Moderate Intensity- Sweating after 10 minutes
High Intensity- Sweating after 3-5 minutes
I try not to use activity points at all… but it’s nice to know that they’re there if you need them. :)
