How Long Should I Allow My Sore Muscles To Recuperate Before Resuming Exercise Routine?

I started a new exercise routine and the next day my muscles were really sore. (I was walking funny) How long should I wait to resume the exercise and allow my muscles time to recuperate or, should I jump right back into it the next day?

If your muscles are so sore you walk funny that means that you are doing to much physical excersise and your body isnt ready for it. I have been jogging for seven years and ive learned you have to listen to your body and slowly build up your excersise routine. to help your muscles recuperate , do alot of walking and stretching. If you do things too fast and your body isnt ready you could develop shin splints and other problems in the long run depending on what type of excesise your doing , good luck to you!
Let your muscle soreness go away before you work that same muscle group out. You can work other muscles groups that are not sore. The soreness is from micro tears in the muscles and if you work out too soon you could cause ma major tear in the sore muscle.
Until I massage the soreness out
u should b stretching a lot today & 4 a few days
but b sure 2 STILL do sum mild exercise
it will help =]
about three days
