Is Fitness First Really That Bad And Unhygienic?
![]() |
I joined Fitness First at Castle Towers (NSW, Aust) today. But I am regretting it after reading all of the bad things said about this chain of gyms. Are the change rooms really unhygienic? Is the equipment almost always broken? Is Fernwood better (females only pls answer LOL)?

I am assuming that each fitness first gym varies. The change rooms should be fine. Try to be super early if you wish to avoid there being any mess in the change rooms.
I actually think that Fernwood didn’t have such a great atmosphere. When I went there, the mood seemed a bit sad and depressed whereas in the mixed gym there is a lot more excitement.
gy m is not bad. you must go with a companion who is is aware of weight training managment. Unhygienic is common in swimming pool and gyms pus etc but you follow some rules and you will be safe. ok whenever you go out to gym tell your parents that you are going to gym. ok all the best.
