Has Anyone Used The E-diet: Fat Loss 4 Idiots? Are There Any Hidden Costs? Does It Work?

I have seen this diet on line, it sounds interesting, but lately it seems like once you buy something, you get hit up to buy the rest of the package to make it work the best.

How Can I Test My Fitness Level?

I’m am well on my way to a healthy lifestyle though I would like some suggestions for testing my fitness level. I would appreciate some examples of what a physically fit person should be capable of doing. (running x distances etc.)

How Does This Weight Loss Plan Stack Up?

Ok so I want to lose weight, plain and simple. I’ve done the research and I know what to do so thus, I have come up with my own weight loss plan and would like some opinions on it. Here it is:
First off, I am an 18 year old male, about 5’8″ and roughly 190 lbs. I have lowered my daily calorie intake to roughly 1500 with a diet consisting mainly of salads, fruits, grilled chicken with small healthy snacks dispersed throughout the day. I would only drink water and green tea. So all in all, I would be eating every four or so hours (to keep the metabolism going).
I would also be working out every day for about an hour performing about 30 mins of eliptical aerobics and about 30 mins of a full body workout. (My goal here is to tone, not really body build.)
My only concern with my plan is the daily calorie intake. Is it too low? I figured that 1500 from food minus about 500 from working out would only give me a net of 1000, roughly. My goal is to get to 170 lbs, at least, in two months.

What Are Some Really Good Fitness Sites?

I am looking to getting into skinny jeans and need some motivation. Could you tell me some good sites or blogs? I have spark people and lance armstrong – I’m looking for some that are unique.

Fat Loss-is She Lying? Why So Vague?

I ran into a girl I graduated with just last June. Although our faces aren’t similar, we both have long brown hair and remarkably similar body types and people would often get us confused. We weighed the same and looked almost exactly the same proportionally. Now, she looks like a model. She has a flat stomach that even has definition, smaller arms, legs and face too. She looks great, I was so happy for her. It also gave me a good idea of how I would look once I lose some weight. Her hips were big like mine and I thought I would never get rid of that fat hip look, but her results prove different. I know that even though we had similar bodies that we won’t necessarily show similar results and that everyone’s body is different in the way that it works for them, but I am nonetheless motivated by what I see she has accomplished. One thing that got to me though..
I told her she looked good and asked her how she did it. She simply said ,”I went to the gym and ran til I couldn’t run.” And so I asked her how long that took. She said 2 months. Now, I weigh 160 as did she prior to the loss. She probably weighs about 120 now, maybe even less and that is no exaggeration.
This just doesn’t sound possible to me. Everywhere you look you hear “a pound a week” no more than 2 or 3 or else you aren’t doing it safely or permanently.
Has anybody actually gotten results like that? Honestly, is it even possible?
(I try not to think about this because its something I myself would never consider, but there is a chance that she may have been doing pretty hard drugs too. Cocaine absolutely SHRUNK one of her best friends down from 230 to about 135 and I know this for a fact. She was my best friend too. She didn’t die from it but she’s well on her way if she doesn’t give it up)
What do you think? Any tips to speed fat loss?

How Much Exercise Is Enough To Lose Weight?

I have started swimming twice a week, hope to do so three times a week and also play badminton once a week too. Is this enough exercise in a week to lose weight safely? Bearing in mind I am eating a balanced diet. Just want to do things properly!

What Is The Best Ps2 Game For Weight Loss To Play?

I want to start exercising, but I don’t want to spend the hundreds of dollars at the gym and prefer to do it at home. After doing some research online, I found 3 choices for PS2 games that got the best rave for exercising.
1. Dance Dance Revolution
2. Eye Toy Play 2
3. Eye Toy Kinetic
Let me know what you think is the best exercise game to help weight loss for PS2. Any suggestions or comments will help as well.
Thanks
