I know focalin causes weight loss in people that aren’t supposed to take it, but i was wondering if you could cause weight loss by taking more than the prescribed amount even if you do have ADD?

I was prescribed Adderall which is just like Focalin. I lost 60 pounds in a few months. I have ADD and I took my prescribed amount. If you are taking it and still have a decent appetite, I would say you aren’t taking the right dosage. Even if you have ADD and are taking the prescribed dosage, you should definately lose weight. I’m a male 6′6” 225 lbs. You should lose weight if taking the right dose. (sorry about the long explanation, I’m on Focalin XR right now… hehe)
Yes, I was on Vyvanse for a few months which is pretty similar to Focalin. I only ate about once a week, because I lost my appetite completely.
