Firstly, I need to dispell the lettuce myth. Common iceburg lettuce is bad for rabbits it gives them diarrohea. Anything with a high water content is not good for their stomach. Darker green leaf lettuce types can be good though.
The majority or their diet should be fresh hay (not alfalfa, this is a hay for treat purposes) and support that with rabbit pellets (avoid rabbit mixes and muesli rabbits pick out their favourite bits which is not nutritionally great for them). You can also supplement the diet with fresh fruit and veg, a good suitable list can be found here: http://www.rabbit.org/care/veggies.html
As treats fed sparingly, rabbits love herbs like parsley, mint and basil or dried fruit like banana, apple or raisin.
You could consider like i do growing a little patch or planter for them which has rabbit friendly flowers like dandelions or timothy grass but research these very carefully, some plants are poisonous to rabbits.
Try to feed shop bought treats very sparingly, some that say they are not really that suitable as they suggest. If you do buy them, try and aim for the natural produts.
I’d suggest when feeding them to also mix in foods that are harder for them to chew like dried bannana or carrot or brocolli stems, or flavoured wood products for them to wear their teeth down on. This is important for rabbits.
Whatever you do though remember your rabbit is an individual, not all rabbits taste in food is the same (i have one with a sweet tooth and one who prefers non sweet things). It’s all trial and error. Rabbits are prone to severe stomach problems, sometimes fatal. Just ensure you introduce foods slowly and with small amounts for their stomachs to adjust and if any food produces poo that is not well formed or runny, then stop using that food immediately because your rabbit is probably intolerant to it.

If your bunny is over a year old you should be limiting his pellets and the pellets should be plain pellets. Look for pellets w/less than 15% protein, and as a high in fiber as possible. Of course a variety of greens (lettuce is ok – that is a myth. even iceberg is fine although it is lower in nutrients, it has some and can be good for a bunny that needs hydration). And unlimited grass hay plus fresh water.
Anything else is a treat and should be fed very sparingly if at all.

Cucumber and lettuce(iceberg-dark leafy lettuce is ok) are not good foods for rabbits. With any new food it should be introduced gradually as rabbits have a delicate balance of gut bacteria which is easily upset leading to digestive problems.

grass, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, radishes as long as he’s getting plenty of greens, he will be healthy. You can also give him rabbit pellets but I’m not sure how good those are for him. Also make sure he has plenty of water so he doesn’t get dehydrated. Also, he needs to have plenty of room to hop around and play. Be careful though, rabbits can and will bite if they want to. It hurts. Trust me.
