What Is The One Thing That Motivates You To Stick To A Diet And Exercise Routine?

I know a lot of people, myself included, where it’s a constant battle to get into and STICK to a diet and exercise routine. What has worked for you? What motivates you so you get beyond the point of frustration and anger with yourself for breaking it?

The Mirror..
PS- xoxoxoxoxoxo
when i first decided to get in shape, i would lie in bed in the morning (because i have to go to the gym early morning or it won’t get done) and think “ok, do i want to lie here and stay fat and pudgy, or do i want to get lean and strong?” and every time the answer was the same. also, once i started seeing a little bit of success, like my clothes being a little looser, it would motivate me to keep going. the eating is harder for me than the working out, but when i am tempted i have to physically walk away from the temptation and say to myself “how guilty are you going to feel if you eat this?” and that usually works. plus, all the compliments you start to get from people are great, and i don’t mind admitting that the looks from the guys is kind of fun for the old ego!
What motivates me? I ask myself before I give up if it’s worth it. I think about how i’ll feel the next day after and how i’ll look , how much i’ll regret it .
Sadly I also look around when at the malls or just outside and look at “bigger” people and say to myself that I dont want to be like that.
the mirror and success… ahhh nothing motivates like a little bit of success
What motivates me is how I look and my new clothes that are 3 sizes or inches smaller in the waist….. that should motivate anyone
A typical health scare.
I like to look good for my wife. I stick to the Adkins Diet and have become addicted to working out daily. If I don’t work out, I feel “soft” the next day.
