To be honest I don’t think that is possible. I used to think that too, if I exercised while on my period it would end sooner. Female athlete’s or just athletic women experience shorter periods because of their daily physical activities and metabolism I think. However, in most cases with women who have a higher estrogen level their periods last anywhere from 5 to 10 days. Studies show our periods should only last 2 or 3 days.
Okay, it is possible. It’s not going to help a whole lot but it can shorten it a day, maybe. It will make your period get heavier though, for a while.
Don’t do exercises like crunches, pushups, etc. You need something to get your whole body moving. Swimming can work, like a really hard workout, or biking. But it will work better if you do an exercise that will keep you upright so gravity can keep the flow going. A good thing to do is run. Go out and run for a half hour or something. Other good exercises would be to do jumping jacks or something like that. Don’t just do it once for twenty minutes and stop. Go for a long jog, maybe, or do sets of fifteen-minute runs every hour. This will get it flowing faster and the fluid OUT. Keep your body moving.
Hope this helps (:
