Are There Any Foods That Actually Promote Weight Loss?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Yes, I know that fruits and veggies are generally the route to go as it’s nearly a no-lose situation but what about all this other stuff I’m reading about? Fiber & wheat? Rice? Grapefruit? Are there really foods within our categories of groups that can stimulate weight loss, aside from just dieting alone? If so, which foods stimulate? Which are “false friends”?

A friend of mine found this website that talks about some great diet foods. They use what are called super foods and a good workout regimen that allows them to really cut off the pounds. You can check out the source I provided for this information. Hopefully it will help you out like it helped her out.

You might want to try a very popular folk concoction – honey and cinnamon. Many people swear by it.
    “Instructions:
    1. Dissolve half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder (or ground cinnamon) in a cup of boiling water.
    2. Stir and cover for half an hour.
    3. Filter away any big particles and add a teaspoon of honey.
    4. Take it in the morning with an empty stomach about half an hour before breakfast. Repeat for a few weeks to see results.”

The foods that promote wieght loss the most are meat and vegetables. Your body doesn’t turn them into sugar and store them as fat like it does breads and sweets. Also with eating meat and vegetables, you stay fuller longer, whereas eating breads and sweets makes you hungry. Therefore, Meats/Veggies= Good Friends Breads/Sweets= Posers

Grapefruit and apples have enzymes which help metabolism. The higher the fiber content, the less the food is absorbed, thus the fewer calories actually stay in your body. Shredded Wheat, All Bran, oranges, and walnuts are a few examples.

that’s it.. fresh fruits and veggies.
the rest you mentioned are weight gainers.
uhm.. grapefruits falls under the generalized ‘vegetable’ category… classified as fruit.
