![]() |
alright im 16, 6ft 1 – 6ft 2 and weigh about 175 average, combined with weight lifting 3-4 times a week and cardio 3-4 as well as some other bodyweight excersizes, is this diet good for fat loss?
breakfast- 1 packet of oat meal + one scoop of protein powder+ small banana + multivitamin and green tea
2nd meal- chicken breast + fish oil+ maybe some almonds or PB
3rd- protein bar and some fruit
4th-chicken breast ( maybe 2 ), fish oil, another green tea extract,
5th – protein shake + some lettuce or other low GI carbs
would this be a good diet for fat loss? also depending on when i work out, would it be a good diet for the weekends? or how should i revise it when taking carbs and protein? any help appreciated.

Sounds great. With all the exercising you are saying that you are doing you shouldn’t have to really worry about what you are eating. Make sure you stay away from any junk food, and fast food. Drink plenty of COLD water, your body uses energy to convert the cold water to your body temp, meaning that your metabolism speeds up, and you burn more calories.
Good Luck!

Maybe you need to seek pysch counseling. 175 at 6’2″ you don’t need to lose anything.
Your diet looks great as long as you monitor the portion sizes. Your workout seem to be fine – just be careful you do not overtrain. It is too easy to overtrain and get burned out when you diet.
Your weight is excellent for your height. Do you really need to lose weight?
