How Can I Get My Fitness Back?
![]() |
I have just got over having chronic fatigue for at least 6 months. I was 14 and am soon turning 15. I used to be very athletic and did several martial arts, which I’m hoping to get back into later on this year. I am currently back at school full time but am very unfit. The other day I tried going flat-out on my punching bag for 2 minutes but then suffered lot’s of muscle pains the next day. What are some good ways I can get my fitness back quicker?

If you are ready to resume your previous exercise then you should be move carefully. This is something that you will have to gauge for yourself. After a week or two I was able to do more. If you are feeling pretty good once you start exercising you can visit the gym again a couple of days later. If you are feeling pretty good after that slowly increase your gym time. If you are having discomfort you will have to back off for a while until you are feeling better again. I realize that it is very frustrating, but if you are not careful you will just set yourself back.
Well the first thing you can do is to control on your diet, eat healthy and oilfree food as oil is the main cause of getting fat.
OMG how did you get chronic fatigue at your age…? That would be my first question. You need to get exercise/fitness into perspective. It’s sort or like the tortise and the hare. Don’t rush it. What about your grades at school? Being fit and healthy is a good thing but not many peoplle can earn a living from it. Concentrate a lot more on school work so you have more choices.
First, you probably need to get on a better diet, one where you can still eat some of your favorite foods if needed. Then, do some jogging, some heavy to mid stretching, and some mid to light MA practice in your spare time. Then move up the MA practice when the soreness gets a bit easier to deal with. Thats a great start.

Be smart about what you eat and train hard but be sure to get enough rest time and not overtrain. Doing these things along with the proper supplements will get you back into good shape.
dont rush things man, your body needs recuperating, so do it slowly but surely, try yoga first, then shadow boxing
