How Do You Exercise While On Your Period?

I recently began an exercise program which includes jogging in a sauna suit. What do you women do when your on your period? I dont wanna stop but it would get rather disgusting because I sweat tremendously in that suit. If I wait until I am done it will take 5 days and im afraid I will gain a few pounds during them days. Any suggestions?

    Couldn’t you jog without the sauna suit? That way you are still getting a work out! I just do my regular workout, but wear a tampon. Hope you are able to figure it out!!

    Anything low impact – why not take a brisk walk? Yoga and pilates are good choices as well – very relaxing. By changing the exercises you do, you’ll keep your body guessing thus resulting in weight loss. So do not feel as if you do not follow this one exercise program ythat you are a failure. Also, follow a low-fat reduced calorie diet with plenty of fruit and veggies and there should be no worry of gaining weight if you are unable to exercise for a few days.

    One can easily walk.
    Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
    Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min.regularly preferably twice a day.
    U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. U cannot however choose spots for reduction.
    This schedule will also be helpful in maintaining good healthy weight.

  • What I usually do is buy the pads that come with the wipes from always they are a little expensive but the help a lot. each pad comes with a wipe and they are really good. try it and try to change before you work out and after.

    Give u and yr body a break while on yr period. Thats what I do. Just sit around and eat chocolate for like 2-3 days and take a break. Then go back to exercising.

    the only thing you lose with a sauna suit is body water through sweat so when you weigh its only water loss.
    if you must continue, use a heavy tampon and a light pad. not much else.

    wear a tampon! those sport ones from kotex. dont let your period stop you from your routines.

    drink a lot of water and change your tampon every couple of hours depending on your flow. that should help but you might feel uncomfortable but thats all i can think of

    use a tampon or just deal with it cause i did the same thing just like shower quickly when you’re done. there is nothing u can really do unless wear like waterproff underwear

    personally i like to swim on my period…its a good work out and it helps relieve cramps……………….and no sweating :D

    I think a tampon might be your solution…if you wear a pad it would be disgusting…but not so much with a tampon.

    tampon, pantyliner… Its actually good for you..It helps “drain” better and clean out your system.
