How Many Calories Should I Eat Each Day To Maintain My Diet?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I want to lose weight by keeping up with my calories and cutting back a little.
I am 5 foot and 3 inches.
I weigh 130 pounds and I’m 14 years old.
I’m going to start exercising regularly also. Maybe 30 minutes a day or more.
So my question to you, how many calories should I have each day to maintain my diet?

Here’s a calculator for you. You have to eat to grow. You’re 14 and not done growing, so take whatever number it gives you and eat that.http://pediatrics.about.com/library/bl_c…
You don’t want to lose weight, you want to burn fat. There’s a big difference.
Of your calories that you eat, 40-50% of them should be protein. That’s a lot of protein, but it will trigger your body into burning your fat reserves. After about a month( or as you near your goal) you can lower that balance and be fine.

first off dont take any pills.
what you need to do is not worry about calories your eating because this will get old quick instead you should exercise more and do resistance training.
You dont need to limit your calories as much as you need to eat the right type of calories if you eliminate dairy products fried foods, and foods that contain high fructose corn syrup and lots of sugar which is also found in white bread and eat whole grains+ a good amount of fruits and vegetables combined with a good source of protein such as fish, chiken or eggs, and lean red meat. you should lose weight and not have to starve your body with those ridiculous calorie based diets- trust me and gl

    Pick your goal weight.
Multiply this number by ten for how many calories you should eat daily.
As long as your goal weight is reasonable and you exercise 30 to 60 minutes a day, you should reach your goal.
    For example, 120 x 10 is 1200 calories a day
    Good luck
