You can begin the positive mental process by writing down your goals, changing your internal dialogue and taking a few minutes to relax, quiet your mind and perform a session of mental rehearsal and exercise every day. Psychologists estimate that it takes 21 to 30 days to establish a new pattern in your brain. During this time you should focus on your positive aim and stick with your practice repeating your new thought patterns.

Scientists have even identified specific parts of the brain which works with the visual parts of our brain to call our attention to things that are important to reaching our goals and to filter out those things that are unimportant. Our mind is the power center and this is the mechanism that explains why goal setting and thinking positively are now being accepted as scientific methods for change.

On the other hand during this period of becoming healthier it’s simply a good idea to stay in the best frame of mind possible and that means dealing with your emotions and your ego, delicately. Once you have seen some real results to form and if the weight has started coming off you will never able to be discouraged or affected by the smallest drawbacks in life.

We may train our brain towards weight loss by motivating our self. The first task that dieters should do is to write a list of the 15 to 20 reasons why they want to lose weight and read that list every single day.

Overweight people often confuse the two. You experience hunger when your stomach feels empty. While craving is an urge to eat usually experienced in the mouth or throat even if your stomach is full.
