What Kind Of Exercise Would Elliptical Training Be?
Is it considered a walking exercise? If I were putting it into a category what would it go under?
I Have Hit The Weight-loss Plateau In My Work Out Routine. What Do I Do?
So my workout routine is this- 30 min of cardio (usually eliptical at 230 watts) m-f and then I alternate muscle groups daily, but I lift weight for another 30 min. On saturdays, I attend a body pump class. During my cardio, I burn between 450 and 500 calories, and I sweat like crazy. I don’t want to increase my cardio more than 150 min a week, because personal trainers have advised me not to. I try to work abs a little bit everyday. I am doing a lower calorie diet (1500-1700 a day), and I try to eat something every 2 or 3 hours to keep my metabolism up. I lost 20lbs in 2 months, and now I can’t seem to loose any more weight. I want to loose weight naturally (meaning I don’t take weight-loss supplements) so I just stick to a daily multi-vitamin. I only want to loose like 2 lbs a week or so, and not much more. So what should I do to start loosing weight again?? I’m stuck… Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is This Meal Plan Good? (for Fat Loss And Lean Muscle Growth) And How Much Calories Does It Have Total?
i’m 5’7 and 130 lb. i lift weights every other day and run intervals on the other days i dont lift. and i’m student so i’m not so active but i walk to each meal 10 min and 10 min back, and 20 min to school and back.
breakfast: cheerio + skim milk + 2 egg whites
breakfast snack: 6 egg whites + 2 whole wheat bread + 10 almonds
lunch: salad (lettus, onion, jalapeno, tomatos, green peas, no dressing) + 1 chicken breast
lunch snack: turkey sandwhich (2 turkey ham + 2 whole wheat bread + lettus + slice of tomato + jalapeno)
pre/post workout: 1 whey protein shake pre and post + 5 almonds
dinner: salad (same as lunch) + chicken breast + apple + 5 almonds
is that healthy and good for fat loss diet? and i think it has around 1800 calories but i’m not too sure. how much calorie does it have?
During And After Exercise, What Type Of Fluid Should I Drink?
I play competitive soccer and I have heard many different things about rehydrating during and after practice and games. My trainer said to drink water during the game, and an energy drink, gatorade being the best, after to replenish our muscles. However, my aunt, who is a nutritionist, said to drink gatorade during the game and water after. To make it even more confusing, i read in a health book that gatorade is not good for you because of all the fake sugar, and to drink Replenish (i’ve never heard of it) or a sweetened water (which our trainer told us not to drink because it doesnt have the right electrolytes or sodium)
please help me! I want to know how to keep hydrated when doing any type of exercise, but especially soccer.
Overtraining For Fat Loss?
Is it possible to over train for fat loss if your only goal is to burn fat? I understand I can lose muscle, but I’m honestly okay with that – I got halfway through a workout regimen that involved muscle gain in the first half and fat loss in the second, so I’m willing to sacrifice some of that muscle to get rid of this stubborn blubber. I just want to get a sanity check on it.
For the past two weeks I’ve been consuming 600-1000 calories a day and doing jumprope for half an hour every day (save you the effort of lookup and tell you its about 430 calories based on my effort), no rest days. I’ve been really good about icing my legs down afterwards and warming them up properly before workouts, and am staying very well hydrated. I’ve also been taking multi-vitamin and calcium supplements to make up for some of the nutritional deficits of the diet.
Is this still a bad idea? What are the drawbacks besides muscle loss?
Is There An Exercise That Will Make My Breasts Go Further Up On My Chest?
I know that sounds weird, but I want my boobs to be further up on my chest, I don’t like where they are. I’m not saggy, they’re just lower than I would like. Is there an exercise to make them go toward the middle and up? Thank you!
