It seems that every other week we hear about the latest "diet. Queuing at the grocery store, you can read the cover of magazines, the latest craze in diet! Will be the latest craze for food work for us?

Most popular diets to follow trends. In the early 90s, we celebrated the Holy Grail of food … Fat makes you fat! Susan Powter was our guru. By showing a position of fat pregnant woman on a sofa, spreading to cover the whole layer. The "new"Susan was thin, buzz off "superwoman" who was in control!

We made a mad dash to the grocery store to buy all the fat-free products we can find. it went to work! It makes sense … fat = fat, right?

But by the late 90s we were all fatter! Fat does not necessarily equal fat, the more we all missed the taste of wonder and a feeling of satiety than fat available. We have seen the removal of fat.

Someone should come and give us permission to eat meat and stillend. Thus, in the 90s, we crowned Dr. Atkins as our new king of weight loss! We had to admit, it was not pretty, it did not have the same charisma that our Stomping fat guru Susan Powter, and it does not seem very healthy and lean. But he had a medical degree that compensated for the guru that we wanted to follow.

Dr. Atkins' message was so refreshing we can eat meat! Not just a little fat, a lot of fat. Not only our taste buds dance, we quickly fell books! This wasit!

Then the heartbreaking truth is out, too much fat will over tax your kidneys and contribute to other diseases. also, everyone gains the weight back and adding more on top of it after we stopped the program and eat more carbohydrates. What do we do now? Does anyone have the answer?

After our radical, extreme, rapid improvements in weight loss in years 80 and 90, we need the truth. It depends not hurt it hurts. In 2000, we learned more watered balanced approach. We actually wentFull Circle and back to the tried and true, monitoring our calorie intact, essentially eating fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and lean meats. We now differentiate between good fats and bad fats, good carbohydrates and bad carbohydrates, sugar and sugar very bad, and eating smaller mini-meals more frequently. We are more educated about healthy eating, good food and lose weight! Most of all we can live on this game plan for wellness and weight loss. It's something that we can follow tolife.

Even the latest celebrity diet found in the tabloid magazines, are not as drastic and are still wrapped in good healthy food. It belongs to our palates to choose how we chose to reduce our size by eating.
