    Pull-ups are good but that is only exercises one half of the arm. You also need to do push-ups. Pull-ups help with bicep development. Push-ups help to develop the triceps. These are the muscles that help you push. You also need to change you hand position in both exercises as it will help you work the muscles in a slightly different ways. By this I mean that you put your hands first shoulder width apart and then try wider and then narrower placements. You will notice the difference.
    Dips are another exercise that helps develop the arms. Remember to have a qualified personal trainer to show you how to do these exercises properly so you do not hurt yourself.
