Hey there! I really need help and you got to answer this. I know ‘sit and reach’ does help the trunk flexibility but i want something like a “substitute exercise” as what my teacher asked.

    Another good one would be to support your body with one arm outstretched to the wall, and the other arm over your head, like a ballet dancer [just no tutus...:o) ]…with the knee of the support arm side bent slightly…and reach for the wall….back up straight…repeat 8-10 times…you should feel your side midsection stretching. Stretch one side, then the other side.
    You could try learning to do hula hoop exercises.
