Why Does Isometric Exercise Only Strengthen A Muscle At The Angle At Which The Muscles Are Contracting ?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

It doesn’t make sense that isometric exercise would only strengthen a muscle at a certain angle. How does the muscle “know” what angle it’s at? Shouldn’t a muscle simply be strengthened? Won’t strengthening a muscle make it able to pull harder? At any angle? Thanks for your answers.

Good point but i think it is more complicated than that. I don’t think that the whole muscle fires when it is used at a certain angle. Maybe surrounding muscles are involved at certain angles as well
