Fat-Loss Options

It seems that more and more people are concerned about fat loss these days. Unfortunately, it seems that not enough of them follow a healthy lifestyle. The latest Center for Disease Control figures indicate that obesity is rising faster than ever. We all know that exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle, but how to keep the fat when you can not always at the gym? Fortunately, research has shown that many foods and supplementscan help reduce body fat. Check out these brief reviews to know what supplements are tailored to your individual needs.
More Fat Burning
A strategy to reduce body fat is to increase the conversion of fat to heat. This process is called thermogenesis, and even if it can help reduce body fat quickly, this is not a license to eat whatever you can get your hands on. Studies have shown that certain types of tea extracts stimulatethermogenesis. The way it works is that a neurotransmitter called noradrenaline (NA) stimulates the production of a molecule in our cells called cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), leading to increased thermogenesis. Certain tea extracts contain compounds called catechins along with caffeine.
The catechins inhibit the enzyme that breaks down NA. Caffeine inhibits an enzyme that degrades cAMP. By drinking teas rich in catechins and caffeine (such as green tea), youprevent degradation of NA and camp, which means you spend more time burning fat for energy. Although subtle, this effect can produce spectacular results. A green tea extract showed an increase in the number of calories burned in one day by about four percent. The same extract also caused a reduction in consumption of carbohydrates for energy and an increase of ten percent in the use of fat for energy. These results could sell up to ten pounds of fat loss per year – withoutexercise!
As large as the above appears, it gets even better. Another type of Oolong tea was actually called shown to increase metabolism even more than green tea. Oolong Tea increased resting energy needs by ten per cent, compared to four percent for green tea. At first sight it may seem like drinking Oolong tea would be better than green tea, but researchers have found that the teas work for different reasons. Green tea is rich in catechins and caffeine, while Oolong tea is high inpolymerized polyphenols. Research suggests that by taking both teas, an even more fat burning can be achieved.
Calcium for weight loss?
As crazy as it sounds, it may actually be true. Studies suggest that dietary calcium may have an anti-obesity. Healthy sources of calcium include skim milk, fortified orange juice, sardines, beans, leafy green vegetables, and nuts. Calcium intake of 1000 mg per day or higher are associated with lower levels of body fat. Diet low in calcium stimulate responses by our fat cells that result in higher levels of intracellular calcium. This leads to the increased size of fat globules, hypertension, diabetes, obesity and other health problems. High levels of calcium in the diet suppress this response so that the rate of intracellular calcium in fat cells are smaller. This helps to stimulate fat breakdown at the cellular level. Animal studies have shown a reduction in body> Fat by 26-39% compared to a diet higher in calcium. This hypothesis is supported by the Human Research shows that higher calcium diets are associated with lower levels of body fat, on the order of 25 pounds less body fat.
Stabilizing Blood Sugar
Insulin has become a new curse word in our everyday language. Various diseases and conditions have been linked to the hormone, and now everyone has jumped on the "slam insulin" bandwagon. What has escaped many people is that a number ofdifferent strategies exist that can reduce insulin levels. Many of these strategies involve stabilizing blood sugar and body fat can be reduced, resulting in lower insulin levels. Both teas and coffees contain active compounds which can alter glucose levels. Black, oolong and green teas contain active ingredients that inhibit the degradation of starch in the mouth, to exercise an activity similar to insulin by increasing glucose utilization by the cells, and absorption glucose retardation. While differentcomponents act through different mechanisms, the end result is the blood glucose levels lower so that less glucose can be stored as body fat. Coffee contains chlorogenic acid, which slows glucose absorption and changes in glucose absorption to distal parts of the small intestine.
Banaba leaf is a less known plant that contains a compound called acid Corosolic. Animal studies have demonstrated that Banaba leaf extracts improve glucose entry into cells and reduces body fatlevels. Similar results on glucose control have been reported in humans using an extract providing 48 mg of Corosolic, suggesting that it may also reduce body fat. Another supplement that has research to support its hypoglycemic action is glucomannan. Glucomannan derived from konjac plant has attracted the attention of physicians to control blood sugar since 1979. Several studies have shown that Konjac glucomannan, exert a positive effect on blood glucose andThis can lead to fat loss.
Blocking fat absorption
We all know that you must eat fewer calories than you burn to lose weight. But science has shown that a slight modification of the "eat less than you burn" stereotype can be helpful. For example, if the intake of fat that you could not be broken down and absorbed? You would be much easier (and more fun) to stay thin. A component called Oolong tea was actually teasaponinshown to inhibit the action of an enzyme called pancreatic lipase that breaks down fat in the small intestine. By inhibiting this enzyme, fat can be digested and absorbed. In this case you're not what you eat, but what you absorb.
Fat Loss Round-Up
There is an impressive amount of research steadily appearing in medical journals and physiological benefits of naturally occurring substances for increasing fat loss directlyand / or indirectly by improving blood sugar levels. Green tea, Oolong tea, black tea, white tea, coffee (chlorogenic acid), calcium, Konjac (glucumannan), and Banaba (Corosolic acid) appear to be promising compounds for the future. Taken together, these compounds may prove even more beneficial and help us keep this belt, a small knob while we enjoy living.
