How Much Should A Personal Fitness Trainer Cost?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I don’t know what else to do to lose some pounds. I’ve tried so much myself and nothing has worked. I was thinking about a personal trainer but heard they are expensive. I would like an idea of a price range, please.

Personal trainers cost about $40 for 1/2 hour or $60/hr. But good trainers are worth every penny they charge.
I just started working with a personal trainer and it really opened my eyes about how useful they are. Most people buy a gym membership and use the machines wrong. After working out with my trainer for 2 months now, I totally rely on him for instructions and I’m getting amazing results.
There are some really good articles on this at personaltrainer.com. It’s worth spending a few moments to read this.

I’m sure you have a local YMCA. Once you join you have full access to all the classes, gym and pool. They also offer PT (personal trainer) courses. Once a member you do have to pay $150 for a 12 week course. But the PT takes your blood pressure, heart rate, weight, measurements…everything. They go through all the machines with you and tell you how to exercise. Also, if you are a member of one YMCA you are a member of them all.
As far as the classes go, you can take them or leave them. You can try Yoga or Pilates or Karate. It’s really nice to have options open to someone who may not like or know how to work out.

Some gyms have trainers around all the time to help you out included in your monthly payment but a lot of places if hear that you need to pay additional money it’s in between 35-100 dollars an hour depending on where you live, how experienced the trainer is, any so on.
    Hope I helped =)
