I have PCOS and am on Metformin and have lost 24 pounds (10% body wt) and was wondering how long it took for you to get a BFP with the weight loss alone or with the metformin.

I got pregnant after loosing 20 pounds(about 10%) and and taking Metformin. It took me 2 months. Good luck and baby dust.
I have pcos and I have a 3 year old son conceived on Metformin and a 50 lb weight loss and it took 3 months once I started the metformin. I had already been losing the weight trying to conceive. I am currently 36 weeks 4 days with my daughter. I lost 45 lbs before conceiving her and was on metformin for 7 months. My Dr. wanted to send me to a fertility Dr and start meds and shots but I prayed about and God would not give me peace about it, so we just kept on praying and trusting him and within a month of my Dr. wanting me to do fertility drugs God give us another child. Do not let let pressure you into fertility drugs. It can be done on you own with the help of God. Don’t give up I know how discouraging and heart breaking it is. We tried for 3 years the first time before I started the metformin. Best Wishes
