I just got a gym pass and I started working out for the past 5 days. I jog everyday for about 10 minutes and walk for 20. I do the elyptial machine for 30. When will I start to see weight loss. I’ve been dieting too. I’m getting frustrated because I haven’t noticed a difference. Thank YOu.

    Don’t look at a scale!
    Right now you are in the process of building muscle which weights more than fat but takes us less room. Now since your muscles may have been weak you body is working first to help them before it starts to release the fat.
    As long as you continue to eat just healthy foods and stick to your exercise routine, the fat loss will come.
    Also make sure that you are drinking more water now than before you started to diet.Water helps to remove the toxins out of your cells that are built up when you burn fat. If you don’t stay hydrated through out the day the toxins won’t get flushed out as they should.
    This is going to sound horrible but it may give you incentive. The next time you crap, take a look. If any of it is floating it means that you are losing fat. Like I said it’s kind of disgusting but that the best way to know whether you are losing water weight or fat. And its fat that you are looking to lose.

    It doesn’t work that fast. Have a little patience, do it keep it up, if you can do move, push yourself to do more maybe in a month or two. It will happen, don’t give up. I have faith, in you. You can do it.
    You didn’t mention, what your diet was like, I hope you are eating plenty of fruits and veggies, and drinking water.

    You may notice a difference in how your clothes fit in about a month. Your friends will start to ask if you have lost weight in about 6 weeks.
    Keep up the good work. Think of this as developing a healthy life style for life. The rest of your life.
