If I Jog 20mins A Day To Improve Fitness, How Much Weight Will I Lose In The Next 3 Weeks?

Just curious as I am starting the running to generally improve fitness but I’m going on holiday in 3 weeks so was wondering if I would lose any weight by then? I should add I am not doing a crash diet before my holiday, I will be keeping up the running anyway I was just curious if I would have lost much by the time I go away.

You need to burn off 3,600 calories to lose 1lb of fat. 20 minutes of jogging ( depending on your current weight and the speed of your jog,) is 7 hours if you jog every day for the 21 days. All things being equal this would burn off 3,550 calories which would be exactly one pound.
Running is an extremely efficient way to burn calories and drop pounds. A 150 person can burn approximately 100 calories per mile when running. But of course, it is never as easy as that. As you need burn more calories than you consume. So to lose 1lb you have to burn around 3,500 calories. Which of course is a lot of calories. But by combining healthy eating along with running. It will be a much quicker way to lose weight.
But don’t expect too much too soon. Unfortunately, it won’t happen overnight.

Probably about 3-6lbs, but it really does depend on your current weight. if your very thin then i doubt you’ll lose much atall, where as if your extremely fat (lol no offense) then you’d lose ALOT
