By Diet | Dec 19, 2009

I am getting surgery soon and I am tryign to drop some weight in a month. I am going to be eating healthy and exercising but I want to take a diet pill too just to speed it up! How long before surgery do I need to stop? Rude or sarcastic answers need not reply. There seems to be a lot of those on this site.

You should stop a week before surgery to make sure it is out of your system and won’t interact with any drugs you receive at the hospital.

isn’t the doctor who’s going to operate on you, willing to answer the question?
you MUST tell him about all the medicine you are getting.
and from personal experience, keep away from diet pills.
